ANDRÉS MUNHÓ

Andrés is co-founder and Managing Partner based in Montevideo and Miami, where he leads US offshore and Latin American advisor sales.

Before joining AMCS, he served as Head of Latin American Sales at Old Mutual Global Investors (2014–2018) and previously as Sales Director at Old Mutual Mexico.

He began his career with Old Mutual in 2003 at AIVA and spent over 15 years developing onshore and offshore distribution channels for Skandia and later Old Mutual throughout the region.

CHRISTOPHER STAPLETON

Chris is co-founder and Managing Partner based in Miami, where he leads Global Key Account and Professional Buyer sales, as well as West Coast advisor sales. Chris is also responsible for fund partner development and relations within the team.

Before AMCS, he was Head of Americas Distribution for Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI) since its inception in 2013.

He began his career at the Skandia Group in 2002, holding senior sales and marketing roles at Skandia and later Old Mutual focused on both offshore and domestic wealth channels.

SANTIAGO SACIAS, CFA

Santiago is a Managing Partner based in Montevideo, where he leads South American advisor sales.

Previously he was Regional Manager for Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI), covering the Southern Cone of Latin America.

He has over 18 years of experience in different roles in the financial industry.

Prior to joining OMGI, Santiago worked at Lloyds Banking Group as a senior credit analyst and Banque Heritage Private Bank, in the portfolio management team.

CARLOS ALDAVERO

Carlos is Director, Head of Northeast US Offshore Sales, based in New York.

Previously, Carlos was President at Dominari Financial and prior to that he spent almost a decade at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.

He has over 25 years of experience and deep knowledge of all aspects of the wealth management industry.

ÁLVARO PALENGA, CFA, CAIA

Alvaro Palenga is Sales Director, based in Miami. His field responsibilities include advisor sales across all South Florida and the Southwest US, with a focus on global private banks, wirehouses and regional broker dealers.

He joined AMCS from Sura Asset Management where he was a Financial Advisor. Previously, Alvaro held different roles at Trafigura and Citibank.

He holds a CPA from the Universidad de Montevideo and is a CFA Charterholder.

DANIEL VIVAS, CFA

Daniel is Associate Sales Director at AMCS Group in Uruguay, where he has been tasked with strengthening the presence of AXA IM and Man Group funds in the region.

Previously, he was VP Sales Latam Retail for Unicorn and prior to that a product specialist at Santander Bank Uruguay.

He holds a CPA degree from ORT University and is a CFA Charterholder.

SEBASTIÁN ARAUJO

Sebastián is a Sales Associate, based in Montevideo, Uruguay.

His primary responsibility is to support our distribution efforts both locally in the Southern Cone and across the wider business.

Sebastián joined AMCS from CPA Ferrere. Where he worked as a credit analyst.

ROSARIO PALAY

Rosario is a Sales Associate, based in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Her role consists of supporting the AMCS sales team across the Americas, focusing on investment analytics, market research, and client experience.

Before AMCS, she worked as a Treasury Analyst at OCA.

ALFONSO PEÑASCO

Alfonso is the Head of Marketing and Product, based in Montevideo.

His primary responsibility is to enhance AMCS´s marketing platform to support the growing market presence of our asset management partners: AXA Investment Managers (BNP Paribas), Jupiter Asset Management and Man Group.

Alfonso has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry. He joined AMCS from AIVA, where he worked as Head of Marketing and Product.

MARTINA ALONSO

Martina is Marketing and Administrative Execuritive, based in Montevideo.

She supports the execution of AMCS’s marketing strategy, with a focus on client communications, digital presence, events, and social media.

Martina works closely with the firm’s asset management partners.

Previously, she worked at Above Software developing marketing channels and, prior to that, managed her own horticulture business.
